Our Value
The WVIF provides a myriad of services that bring value to its members.

Members receive regular updates on significant insurance developments from all three branches of government. The WVIF coordinates members' participation in the filing of briefs amicus curie on significant issues considered by the West Virginia Supreme Court of Appeals and meets annually with the Congressional delegation on federal issues. In addition to meeting with members of Congress, we develop a cohesive legislative agenda and strategy for each session. In regular, bi-monthly meetings, we discuss issues affecting member companies and the insurance industry generally.
